Engagement part 1

We have our engagement party on 3 June 2006. I was so glad that everything turned out smoothly. Thanks to my family members, my parents, my siblings, my aunties and uncles. That night was also a reunion night for some people. Some of the relatives from my father's side, the Berawans spoke in berawan's language to me which i tak fasih sgt.
In our Lakiput culture, an engagement does requires the man's side to present some gifts or hantaran, just like the malays. The compulsory ones are the bronze tray, kain sarong, and RM5(something like mas kahwin lah). Here are some photos of the hantaran, not that clear though, sbb amik ngan cam phone.

One of my good friend, Yan got married on the very same day as my engagement. So, i didn't manage to attend her wedding, Thanks to Lizah for this photo..

Some of the engagement photos...the cameraman cum my brother was unable to take more photos because he was so busy with his kid, Danish got asthma attack that evening..poor little boy.
My cousin, Junaidi(from Brunei) sure have at least more proper photos but i still haven't manage to contact him. maybe at another family gathering, i'll try to ask them from him.
By the way, it was an enjoyable moments especially the day before, where mama and aunties are busy drafting their own recipe for that night. It was fun to see my little nephew and nieces running around happily with their little aunties and uncles. Brothers cleaning the house with beers in their hands  . Gosh, i just dunno how to thank each and everyone

Penang Trip - Day 1 (Bukit Bendera)

|
After Kek Lok Si, we went to Bukit Bendera. Aaahhh...the view from top there was so syiok man... !!except i was so scared of the monkeys and being someone who has problem with high places..i have heights phobia 
We had tea in one of the rest house up there while enjoying the view of the island. I like the balinese pondok they have there and that rest house back yard is such a wonderful spot to have a garden wedding

Penang trip - Day 1 (Kek Lok Si)

Went to Penang on Wesak Day holiday with Dennis and family. I only took few shots as there was something wrong with the camera. Day 1 was mostly spent on Kek Lok Si Temple. Love the scenery up there...enjoy the shots

We went to visit Jae's newborn baby girl yesterday. Baby Humairah was born on 31 March 2006, about 7 weeks earlier than expected. Both mother and daughter are doing fine. I was only able to see Humairah from outside since only parents are allowed to enter the room.
Aqeel dah boleh lari2 dah..so cute..

Cuti Cuti Malaysia

Last February, Papa, Mama, Uyie (Granny in my language, Kiput) and Jill (my cuz) came to visit me. So, just took all of them around since the last time Uyie came to KL was around the 80's, can't really recall the exact year. Poor Uyie, had to be "dragged" around since as usual KL is so packed with people.
It was so nice to have all of them around especially coming home from work...when they left home, i was kinda having homesick...tsk..tsk..
Btw, most of the photos was taken either by me , or my cuz Jill (both amateur... )

Around the house

Was so bored the other day...took some shots around the house. Plus, the Sureheboh was just across the road. Made a big mistake actually to go out to Bangsar that Sunday night cos the road was so jammed. I took me about 1 1/2 hours to just reach my house. Jalan kaki lg cepat sampai daaa...  . Those *&%^*#@ lah!!Double parking tak ingat, no..no...triple parking pun ader
